The Story
Lisa Cheng is a classical pianist based in Calgary, Canada. She holds ARCT piano with the Royal Conservatory of Music, Toronto, Canada, As an avid community and festival pianist, she has performed in various music festivals in North America since 2016, including Calgary Performing Arts Festival, Aloha International Piano Festival, Toronto Summer Music Festival, HONENS Festivals and HONENS ProAm Competition.
Beyond music, Lisa has a great interest in literature and creative writing. During the lockdown, she wrote her first work of fiction, When Hushed Voices Die. This magical realism romance allows readers to indulge in old-time sentiments. The blurred line between reality and imagination, the metaphoric motifs, and the purest form of love are precisely the manifestation of Lisa's musical language.
